Event Host Agreement
Standard contract between host and Sioree governing platform usage, fee structure, and event facilitation terms.
1. Parties
This Agreement is entered into between the Event Host ("Host") and Sioree Inc. ("Platform"), a marketplace facilitator for event services. The Host retains full responsibility for the event. The Platform provides technology, vendor marketplace access, agent-assisted operations, and payment facilitation.
2. Platform Services
Sioree provides: (a) an event creation and management dashboard; (b) marketplace access to talent, venues, and staffing vendors; (c) AI-assisted agent pipelines for outreach, booking negotiation, and compliance tracking; (d) Stripe-based payment processing for deposits, remainders, and vendor payouts; (e) compliance requirement generation and evidence management. The Platform does not guarantee vendor availability, quality, or performance.
3. Fees & Payment Terms
The Platform charges a percentage-based service fee on the total event budget (the "Platform Fee"). The current rate is published in your dashboard at checkout time. The Platform Fee is calculated at event creation and deducted from the budget before vendor allocation. Host pays a deposit to initiate operations, with the remainder due before the event date. All payments are processed via Stripe Checkout. Refund eligibility is governed by the cancellation policy below.
4. Host Responsibilities
Host is solely responsible for: (a) accuracy of event details provided; (b) compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws including permits, alcohol licensing, noise ordinances, and fire safety; (c) obtaining necessary insurance; (d) ensuring venue legality and capacity compliance; (e) guest safety and conduct. Sioree's compliance engine provides guidance only and does not constitute legal advice.
5. Cancellation & Refund
Host may cancel an event and request a deposit refund at any time before the event start date by using the refund function in the event dashboard. After the event start date, deposits are non-refundable. Vendor-specific cancellation terms are governed by individual booking agreements. Platform Fees on refunded amounts are not charged.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Platform's total liability shall not exceed the Platform Fees actually collected for the relevant event. The Platform is not liable for vendor performance, event outcomes, guest injuries, property damage, or any consequential damages arising from event operations.
7. Term & Termination
This Agreement is effective upon Host's creation of an event on the Platform and continues until all obligations related to that event are fulfilled. Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice for future events. Termination does not affect obligations for events already in progress.
